Nic is a Los Angeles-based Production Designer and Art Director. Whether working in a narrative format, or more broadly in commercial media, his focus is always on the collaborative process of exploration and discovery.

Born in Panama to a family of mixed Hispanic descent, he grew up moving between the US and various Latin-American countries. His great strength lies in the ability to fluidly adapt himself and his creative process to meet the visual and design challenges within various modes of storytelling. Attention to the emotional makeup of characters, craftsmanship, and a seamless marrying of form with function characterize his environments.

His films have screened at Tribeca, Clermont-Ferrand, Sundance, SXSW, and many other festivals in the U.S. and abroad. Nic has had the good fortune of working on indie darlings such as Between Us, which premiered at the Tribeca Film festival in 2016 , and Chronic, which won best screenplay honors at the Cannes film festival in 2015.

He is a member of the Art Directors Guild, local 800.
